Polmer Marble have officially opened New Beige in Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş. Located near Mediterranean region, the move builds on the company’s group of existing quarries and is expected to open up new opportunities within the construction sector across the region and overseas.

Polmer Marble have invested this unique Quarry , which will provide LazGrey Beige Marble for the building, construction, leisure and landscaping sectors, as well as for sale directly to the general public.

Polmer’s general manager, Sait Bulut, said: ‘We are delighted to add the new Quarry to our quarry portfolio. We believe it will prove a valuable resource for the local house building and construction industries throughout the wider Kahramanmaraş Region, underlining our reputation as a leading supplier of  Mugla White Marble and LazGrey Beige Marble.

“We are also happy to have created new jobs in the region and look forward to welcoming local and global people through our gates for their own marble needs.” An estimated 5 million tonnes of marble is expected to be extracted  in the next years. Once quarry operations are complete, an accumulated 20-years business programme of Polmer Marble will be put in place.
