Certified White Marble of Mugla, 60 exported to the country at the initiative of Mugla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MUTSO) geographic mark, registered white marble is exported to 60 countries.

Mugla has around 120 marble quarries, around 140 factories, 82 quarries and nearly 10,000 employees contributions to the country’s economy of nearly $230 million a year.

With the richest natural stone formations in the world located in the Alpine region, Turkey has a wide variety of marble reserves and a large amount of marbles. Mugla, which has an important role in the production of marble in the country , United States States (USA), China and India, mainly 60 exports to the country are carried out. MUTSO President Mustafa Ercan said, “Mugla white marble is both in our country and Europe is in demand in the US, Canada and Arab countries. The Chinese and Italians who bought our marble from our Mugla were marketed with their own brands. We aimed to gain value by taking geographical signs to our product. I wish our brand to be good for our sector and region.”
